What we collect
If you give us your email address, we store it along with which page you gave it on and, if you chose to tell us, your role. That is so we can send you what you asked for and know which parts of the site are useful.
If you use a contact or enquiry form, we store what you typed into it.
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. That sets cookies and collects the usual analytics data, approximate location, device, referrer, pages viewed. We do not use it to identify individuals.
What we do with it
- Send you the thing you asked for.
- Send occasional email about the index, if you asked for that. Every one has an unsubscribe link that works.
- Reply to you.
- Understand which pages are worth keeping.
We do not sell your data, rent it, or hand it to the vendors listed on this site.
Outbound and affiliate links
Links to vendors pass through our own redirect so we can count clicks. That records the tool, the page you clicked from, and the time, not who you are. Some of those links are affiliate links, in which case the vendor may set their own cookies once you arrive on their site. Their privacy policy governs from that point.
Who processes your data
Base44 hosts the application and its database. SendGrid sends transactional email. Brevo manages the newsletter list. Google Analytics handles analytics. Each is bound by its own terms.
Your rights
Ask us and we will tell you what we hold on you, correct it, or delete it. If you are in the UK or EU, you have these rights under UK GDPR and GDPR respectively; if you are in California, under the CCPA. Practically, the route is the same for everyone: use the contact form and say what you want.
Retention
Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Form submissions are kept while they are useful for handling the enquiry.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it.
